Rosie's Ramblings
I bought this thing with curlers in a box over 2 years ago, you plug it in and wait until its hot before putting curlers on your hair. Well, I was bored today and decided to try it. It ACTUALLY worked! I looked like 1950's housewife or something but it was cute! I didn't do it perfectly because the bottom part of each curl was bent but next time, I will do it right and hopefully use it to doll up for next event! It wasn't so hard doing it -- I watched CSI Miami while doing my hair and time went by fast. One show equals warming up the box, putting it in, waiting for it to do its job and take it out! Not bad!
Few months ago, I bought a book with writing exercises and I really want to do those exercises now, so I probably will post what I write once in a while. The first exercise is to find a wedding picture and write a story about that picture, so I'm thinking about using my grandparents' wedding picture. Should be fun!
It doesnt feel like a beginning of 2009 yet -- most workplaces are closed until Monday, so I'm kinda restless. I want to get started with finding a stable job (I only have one job that isn't stable and only depends on how many students I tutor). I really need to find something that will bring in the money regularly as opposed to little that month, more next month, maybe almost nothing the next month, etc. So, pray for me!
I don't know if you remembered a blog from few months ago about PCOS but I finally saw a specialist 3 weeks ago and will start treatment on Monday (after I get my bloodwork done). So, I am excited to see what changes will happen, if it does happen! I really want to lose weight, feel healthier and get my body ready for babies! (We're not trying for a baby this year, so don't keep on checking my blogs to see if I am pregnant! :)) It is SO important to me that I am healthy for pregnancy AND for motherhood afterwards; I want to be an active, healthy mom and a good role model for our children.
We moved into our new apartment a month ago and it still looks awkward, ugh! We need some furniture to make it look full and we haven't decorated the place but money is the issue, so I guess I have to be patient! Right now, we only have one 40 dollars loveseat from salvation army to use until we save enough for really good couches from The Brick or Leons. So, I'm feeling frustrated that I don't feel quite home yet. I just have to learn to be patient, enjoy what we DO have and take pleasure in decorating one room at a time.
More rambling later!
p.s I absolutely love Law and Order, CSI (NY, LV and Miami) and all kinds of crime tv. It's nice to get lost into the story and give myself a break from reality. I need that every now and then.
